A common chatter in the mind of a human - I feel unfulfilled all the time, no zeal to work towards anything, nothing to look forward to. Then I scroll and feel the world or country needs saving, but I am not a politician to make any policies or a soldier to fight at the borders. If anyone or anything that needs saving is me from myself.

The mind scrolls from one thought to another - I understand the kind of lover or partner desires is very unreasonable, am I even myself showing up as the ideal one?

Another tab opens - We all have a greater purpose, they say, but for a person who has to brainwash themselves to even go by the day, that's not even fathomable! I should have been born in the West; everything is so smooth there. I just hate myself!

These are some inner dialogues of a lot of youngsters in our country.

Let us try to break down this whole idea and reach its source.

The West is the biggest coloniser, and the East was looted because it had so much to offer! A very simple parasitic equation of feeding that we see in nature, which is not a symbiotic one, where each one nourishes the other, and the cycle of harmonious living continues.

Culture needs to be protected with boundaries, be it physical or intellectual. Otherwise, we are already seeing a lot of cultural appropriation of Eastern countries by the West, be it our food, clothing and even our way of living. The concept of Yoga, too, unfortunately, now feels like coming from the West rather than the East. All this has happened because we haven't fought for everything which is rightfully ours. We feel that colonisation is a thing of the past, but it is very much here and is evolving faster than we are able to even see it.

We feel that we are free and we no longer need to defend ourselves is the biggest misconception. The very reason that we feel broken and caged all the time is our colonial hangover. Being so tired and bathing in self-loathing, we end up not fighting for our cultural assets and, to a large part, our self-respect. (See if the phrase "selling your soul" rings a bell at this point).

This is at the Macro level. To bring it into our experience at the micro level, we can directly see this in our daily lives when we end up coming face-to-face with narcissists in our professional and personal lives. This experience robs us of our own exclusive and beautiful qualities. Such people project our light as their own - haven't we seen seniors taking credit for the ideas we gave, or a random relative not acknowledging us for all the work we did for our family? This is very trivial and has been accepted as the norm in social settings.

But accepting such treatment or just going with it weakens us and forcefully pushes us into an inferior space. This is called systematically erasing your history/ your version of the story because 'nice people' don't dare to speak up.

Conclusion -

Colonisers = Narcissists

So until we do not value our heritage and protect it with our might, we will be robbed again and again. This is the very reason that the majority of Indians today either hate themselves or feel like a failure. Our generation is falling into bad relationships because they have a bad relationship with themselves. Add to it the media, which constantly tells us that 'we are not worth it'.

Solution?

Living beings are not supposed to live in a way where we keep feeling dead from inside; the very definition of being alive is having 'Prana Shakti' within us. The Kriya Shakti, or we can even call it the power of Yoga; If we keep going backwards, deeper into the source of this power, we find Ma Kali, who is the primary Goddess of Yoga. The great Prana or Cosmic life force: Mahaprana. This Mahaprana is our most primal will to live, our urge to call or belong to our eternal being's greater family, where we live in harmony with the divine cosmic energy.

First step to harness -

The Primary Mantra/ Seed or Beej Mantra of Kali is KRIM. It is the kickstart vibration to set our vital energy in motion. The electricity transformer switch is in our system. This can help us paddle our feet to swim towards the shores of our eternal longing. It can break the boundations within us which are constantly stopping us from blooming.

So let us break out from the heaviness binding us and start our journey towards our evolution. Afterall, we didn't evolve from an amoeba to a human just to remain a mere human. There is a bigger future ahead of us.

Come! Let us raise ourselves further, let's shower in the supreme Power.
